Environmental Conservation consultant

Amos holds a Bachelor’s and a Master of Science in Geography at the University of Buea. He holds a Ph.D. in Natural Resources and Environmental Management at the Department of Environmental Science, University of Buea. He has experience in teaching, research, and conservation issues. He has assisted in teaching in the Department of Environmental science, the University of Buea, and also in Natural Resources and the Environment, University College of Technology Great Soppo Buea, Cameroon. He is an environmentalist, a conservationist, and a community mobiliser. He has served as a Biodiversity Research Officer, Deng Deng National Park-Belabo Council Forest Conservation Corridor Project East Region of Cameroon at ERuDeF, from May 2020 to December 31st 2020, where he Conducted multi-resource inventory using transects, reccee walk and camera trapping and also served as project manager of the Deng Deng National Park-Dja Biosphere landscape from January 1st 2021 to July 30th 2021. He has a handful of publications on biodiversity conservation across Cameroon. He has presented in both local and international conferences on biodiversity conservation and he is a member of the African Primatological Society, Cameroon Red Colobus Conservation Network and he was among the few founding members of the Cameroon Primatological Society in September 2019. He is an Environmental Geographer at the University of Buea, with a focus on Biogeography, climate change, habitat restoration, and biodiversity conservation. He has done consultancy in fundraising in many local organisations in Cameroon.
